Retirement Travelers’ Alaska Weekend Getaway
Hey John and Bev, thank you for joining us on the Glacier Quest Cruise and sharing your fun rail and cruise adventure. It was fun to have you cruise with us! Keep Traveling! #retirementtravelers #26glaciers
Our next early retirement travel stop was an Anchorage, Alaska weekend getaway. Alaska was our 49th visited state and one of our travel goals was to visit all 50 states.
We flew into Anchorage and stayed at a downtown hotel. The Alaska Railroad was a block away and was perfect for a day trip to Whittier and a boat ride on the Glacier Quest to see glaciers in Blackstone Bay. There are so many things to do in Alaska.
